Siblings:M/s. K.Ravi shanker,Gowri Shanker & Swaminathan with eldest sister Smt.R.Premalatha.
Father(Sri.V.Kalyanam) was a station master and mother Smt.K.Visalakhsi.
Qualification:B.E Mechanical from Annamalai Univesity.
Expirience:3 years as a maintainance engineer in the automobile field in Govt.Owned Pallavan transport corporation at chennai.
Joined railway service in the year 1975 as a maintainance engineer and handled maintainance of all types of rolling stocks.
Gained expertise in the maintainance of all types of diesel-electric loco-motives inlcuding the latest state of art technology of EMD locomotives.
One of the first certified lead asseser in ISO 9002 quality system from indian railways
First management representative for one of the major workshop viz., centrel workshop Goldenrock who was the first workshop to establish ISO9002 standars in indian railways
Worked nearly 34 years in Indian railways in different capacities right from Senior Section Engineer to Chief Workshop Engineer
